CREATING FOREIGN ACCOUNTS

Wise presently allows its user to have account that is physical bank account in ten major countries that is the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, new Zealand, Singapore, Romanian, Canada, United state of America, Hungarian and turkey. It also allows other foreign currencies by keep in the account without a bank account (it allow users to store foreign currencies in 30+ currencies using real time exchange rates). it is very useful to international students, freelancers and companies operating in several countries. 

The steps on creating foreign accounts with Wise are as follows;

·         Click on the balance at the left of the page when you have log in.

·         You will see three options: open a balance, order your card and manage direct debit.

·         Click on the open a balance and follow the on-screen instruction to open your borderless account. The account address will be Wise address in the country.

ADDING YOUR INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNT

Wise allows you to add your already existing bank accounts to the banks (balance) collection as the primary currency bank. The steps involve;

·         Click on recipient at the left of the page when you have log in.

·         You will see two options: add your bank account and add a recipient.

·         Follow the on-screen message/ instruction to add your bank account.

·         Follow the on-screen message/ instruction to add a recipient bank details (will be helpful for reoccurring transactions).

WISE FOR BUSINESS

Wise also offers business account in several currency at no extra cost.it creates a borderless account for freelancers, entrepreneurs to receive and make payments in several currencies. It conducts batch payments, API, xero accounting integration, the account can generate bank statement monthly, and you can get a Wise business debit card for business expenses across the world.

PROS AND CONS OF USING TRANSFERWISE

Pros are;

1.       It can be used for hedging currencies

2.       Borderless bank accounts

3.       Easy transfer with cards, bank transfer, wire transfer, and balances.

Cons are;

1.       Transfers have limits based on currencies, so check the limits before planning any transfer emphasis on large payments and card payments

2.       The borderless bank account is limited to six currencies for now that is UK, US, Europe, Austria, new Zealand and polish .
